She's finally here! Her due date was February 1st but she just couldn't wait. Sunday the 20th at about 10pm we started counting contractions and then we headed to the hospital at about 1am on the 21st. Grandma Soanka met us at the hospital to take Levi (thanks Grandma!!!), and we stayed to wait for the big arrival. Things went slower at first than we had hoped. The contractions were just not strong enough so we tried to sleep and waited. Dr. Brian Drake (best OB doctor ever) broke Holly's water at about 8:30am in hopes that this would speed up the process, which it didn't, so then at about 11:00am they started her on potocin (might be spelled wrong). The contractions finally got strong enough at about 1pm. The epidural was given at about 1:30pm and 15 minutes later she was ready to push. Holly fortunately only had to push for about 20 minutes and Makayla and mommy are both doing excellent! God has truly blessed us with a beautiful baby girl! It is so fun getting to adjust to our now family of four! Levi is a very proud big brother and he truly loves his baby sister! He wants to hold her all the time, gives her lots of kisses and hugs and sometimes more attention than she would probably prefer. (We're working on being gentle!) Daddy is enjoying his cuddle time and mommy just can't believe we have two! Thanks to all who came to visit us, we love you! And a special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Soanka and Grandma and Grandpa Riegelmann who took care of Levi while we were at the hospital, we love you and couldn't have done it without you!
