First Annual CBU Reunion with friends

On Sunday we got back from an extended weekend in Lincoln City and the first ever annual CBU reunion with our good friends from California. Alex and Marcella Bumpus (and little baby bump) Jonathan and Amy Miller, and Oscar and Katie Enriquez were all able to join us. We were able to make many great memories and catch up with each other. The weather wasn't as warm as it could have been but we enjoyed the time spent together. We played lots of Rock Band, Spaids, a couple rounds of Wist and Password, went to the outlet mall, the guys played B-Ball at the community center and we did finally make it down tot the beach. It was a weekend we will always remember and we can't wait to continue this tradition! Jonathan, Mike holding Makayla, Oscar holding Levi and Alex

Levi lookin' cool and climbing the stair BY HIMSELF, whether I liked it or not!

Thanks Bumpus', Enriquez's and Miller's for a great weekend. We cherish your friendships and are always looking forward to the next time we get to see you.
P.S.- I would love copies of any pictures you took if you could email them to Mike or I.

Oaks Park

Today we went to Oaks Park for the Toddler Rides, it is our nephew Evan's birthday and we are also leaving tomorrow to go to the beach with a bunch of our friends from California, all of which don't have kids and so I thought that it would be good for Levi to have some of our time and attention before then. Levi had been to Oaks Park once before and immediately recognized it when we walked in the park. He loves the rides and starts to fuss every time they end until I tell him that we are going to go ride another one. If you have kids under the age of six I highly recommend it. It's six dollars (only kids pay) for unlimited rides and afterwards they read a story and give each kid a cookie and milk. Also if anyone wants to go let me know and maybe we can go togther!

Levi and cousin Hannah on the airplanes.

Makalya and I on the train.
Happy Birthday Evan we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Fourth of July

This year on the Fourth of July, instead of going to California like usual, we headed to Lincoln City with the Riegelmann family. We had a very relaxing and fun weekend. Great Grandma Riegelmann bought the kids red, white and blue outfits that were completely adorable (thanks GG) and they wore them proud.

We went to the beach, where Levi showed Daddy and Grandpa how to make sand castles

and Makayla and I tried to stay warm.

We went swimming at the local community center which both kids loved. (thanks for the swim suits cousin Lynn)

Levi had a blast playing with his cousins.

And we made numerous trips to the park.

It was a great weekend and a good time for me to relax with my family away from the stresses of home.
