Though it is so exciting to have a new baby who we think is absolutely precious and beautiful we are also very much enjoying our little man. He is learning new things everyday. Most recently I have been ridiculed (by Mike) about my sound effects. Clearly I am a girl and was just not born with these talents but Levi is stepping into help. His most recent is the sound of a car which he does very well and quite frankly better than me, so we have agreed that I will leave the sound effects to him. He has also learned how to say sister and is always looking out for her. The other day Makayla was sleeping in the other room and the monitor was on. When she woke up and made some noise Levi was confused about where his sister was (he hadn't yet figured out the monitor thing) and started looking around for her. I told him sister was awake and that I would go get her but when I went back to the bedroom she had already fallen back asleep so I left her there and came back out to play. Levi was so concerned that he grabbed my hand and led me back to the bedroom so that HE could check on her. I had to pick him up, show him her eyes were closed and explain to him that she was still asleep. It was so cute! He is such a good big brother!
