Our life over the last month has been so much fun. Makayla has been growing faster than we can keep track of although she is much smaller than Levi was at her age. It is so interesting to me to see how two babies with the same parents can be so different. They sleep different, eat different, and act different. Levi has always been my little snuggle bug since the day he was born. Makayla sometimes likes to be snuggled but other times she just wants to be put down and left alone. She loves to smile and "talk" which is a joy in itself and Levi can get her to smile whenever he pleases (he thinks highly of himself when he does). He also likes to "help" us take care or his little sister. Everytime she cries he looks at me and points at her with this look on his face that says, "mom, sister needs your help RIGHT NOW!"
Recently I have been thinking about when they are both a little bit older and can interact more. It is going to be so amazing to watch and see how they treat each other and how their personalities blossom. Right now Levi is very expressive and strong willed. Sometimes it can be so trying but I just keep telling myself that when he gets older it will be a good thing that he doesn't give up easy. People like that get far in life because they don't let obstacles get in the way and I can already see that quality coming out in him.Playing the guitar.
Sittin' with friends.
Taking pictures like mommy.
A couple of weeks ago we went to the zoo with my sister and her two kids. Levi had a great time with his cousins and it was some much needed time outside. The weather was perfect, we brought our lunches and ate near a grassy area and we pretty much visited all of the animals. Levi was able to spot most of them although there were some that were much easier than others.
We also have brought out the BBQ! We are so ready for the summer weather to stick around. Last weekend it was so sunny and we were so fortunate to be able to enjoy our backyard. Levi loves to be outside and help dad with the yardwork of which there is plenty.
Makayla and I had a little photo shoot and I also got this one of Levi being a big boy at the table. In the evening Mike perfectly grilled us up a delicious honey bourbon tri-tip compliments of White's Meats. (I highly recommend it!) All in all it was a great day and made us even more eager for sunny weather. The sad thing is the rain is already back :(

Hey Holly!
It's Elizabeth Howeth (Tucker) I was blog stalking and just found your blog and I'm soo happy!
Did you know that I have NEVER seen either of your children? Oh my word...they are adorable. It's so crazy. Last time we hung out, you were prego on the 4th of July and now you have 2 children! Life is crazy! It looks like you guys are doing great. Blogs are a blessing.
Please say hi to Mike for us! Like 2 years ago Mike lent Josh a dvd on Nick Saint that is a thorn in my side b/c every time I see it in our DVD case, I get depressed and realize that we're those people who you lend things to and they never give it back!! I will try to remember to bring it next time we're home.
Anyway, didn't mean to write you a book. Just wanted to say hi and that I'm happy I found your blog.

Holly! I love all the pictures. Your family is so adorable. The best part is looking at how happy you and Mike are with your kids. There is no question that this is what God has called for you. We always knew you would be a great mama.
