On October 13th, 2009

we became a family of FIVE! Parker has been with us for almost a week now. He is a happy baby, that praise Jesus, loves to sleep. Levi and Makayla absolutely adore him and remind us often that he is "born now." (it was a long nine months for them too) Parker gets TONS of kisses and hugs from Makayla, cuddles from Levi at bedtime and mommy and daddy get to hold him every once in awhile also. I'm thankful that I am his feeding machine or else I may not get to hold him at all!

Parker James you have changed our lives and we are excited to see how you will fit into our family!
Here are a TON of pictures! I feel that I personally need to prove that I can take as many pictures of my second and third children as I did my first, so here goes.
First bath.

He was born at 2:32pm awake and alert and didn't take his first nap until 6pm.

Due to the new hospital rules, in an attempt to cut down on the flu, no visitors under the age of 18 were allowed in the family birthing center including family. I had mixed feelings about this because it meant I didn't get to see Levi and Makayla and that they couldn't meet him until we came home but as it turned out I was able to have some great bonding time with Parker!

So precious!

The lighting in this picture makes his hair look red
but really it is dark brown and about a 1/2 inch long.
Makayla meeting Parker for the first time. Mike brought the kids to the hospital to meet us as they wheeled me out but Makayla fell asleep on the way. Levi met us at the door and helped us get him into his car seat. He was so happy that Parker was born and even commented by saying, "mommy you only have a little belly now!"
Makayla holding Parker for the first time.

Proud big brother and big sister!

Levi holding Parker for the first time. He does a great job!
Snuggling on the couch.

Our little Parker man.

Being silly!
(pretty sure the 3 of them far outweigh the weight capacity of the pack-in-play bassinet but oh well it was cute right?)

Makayla holding Parker and Daddy holding both of them.

After the older kids had gone to bed, Daddy actually got to hold him.
Wow, so strange calling them older kids since they are both still under 3 and neither are potty trained.

I love this picture!

Levi playing his new game with Parker. You put your noses together and pretend your stuck then laugh really hard when you manage to break free.

Makayla loves to "hold it" as she says.

Daddy and his boys!

The expression on his face says it all.
"What have I gotten into. This is really the family God put me in? I may be in trouble!"
Parker man we love you more than words can express and are thankful that God has chosen to bless us with you for a son and brother! We can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for your life and who you will become.
P.S.- Levi says hurry up so we can shoot some hoops.

Since I'm always on your case about blogging I guess I should leave a message so you know I'm checking...

I love the picture of them in the pack n play together! I can't believe you have three! Are we even old enough to be married? It feels like just yesterday we were meeting each other at CBU for the first time!

Anyway, I'm glad your Parker James has entered the world handsome and healthy. I can't wait for mine to get here! Miss you guys!
