Time goes by so fast! Every time a new baby comes into our hearts and joins our family I can't help but remember back to when the others were babies. Ever since Makayla was born Levi has seemed like such a big boy. I remember the day I had Makayla and Levi came to visit me at the hospital. I had only been away from him for a short time (less than 24hrs) and yet is seemed as though he had "grown up." All of a sudden he was this big brother. It felt like he weighed more and acted more mature. I had this same feeling again when Parker was born. I again was only away for just about 24hrs but when I saw Levi and Makayla they had "grown up." Levi is now an older brother to not only Makayla but Parker as well and Makayla is now a big sister! I keep telling people that Makayla gained at least 5 pounds while I was in the hospital. Though I know this to be false it is amazing how real it seems. She really does seem "bigger" both physically and in maturity. It just never seems that the other children were "this small." We forget so fast how little they are at birth and how quickly they truly do grow up. It makes me cherish each moment I have with them at the age they are at right NOW, challenges and all! They are only going to be this age once and I don't want to miss it!
