Easter

Easter was a lot of fun this year. We actually started on Saturday by getting together with my side of the family. We had an Easter egg hunt at Grandpa and Grandma's house and then went to lunch together. Unfortunately Makayla fell asleep and missed the egg hunt.


Then on Sunday we went to church and had a wonderful time celebrating Jesus' Resurrection. Since I had the kids all dressed up I decided I wanted to get a picture of all three kids. That's not to much to ask right?

Obviously not really what I was looking for but what could I do.

Then we went to Mike's Uncle Frank and Aunt Carol's house. They put together a delicious lunch and the kids had a great time with the egg hunt.

Levi started out excited about any egg but quickly found out from the older kids that only fake eggs had treats and money inside. From then on he would pick up the real eggs, look at them and put them back.

Makayla didn't care so she benefited nicely from this arrangement. She is by far the youngest of the group and if the older kids hadn't kept putting the real eggs back she wouldn't have had any to find. Can you see the determination in her eyes as she stares down her next find while picking up the egg at her feet. She had no idea she was cleaning up the leftovers :)
