2 Years !!!

I cannot believe that my little baby is 2! How did that happen? We had a little party to celebrate with some family and close friends and here are some of the precious moments that were captured.

Levi it is a joy to be your mommy! You are loved so,so much! You are becoming a little boy and though I sometimes have a hard time with it (like the other day when you called me mom instead of mommy, small tears) I love watching you grow up and truly enjoy the moments we share, learning, exploring and just being together! You are an amazingly good big brother and are very posessive of your "sis." You cry when she has to take a nap and you smile and run into her bedroom whenever you hear so much as a peep from her in the morning or after a nap, crawl into her crib and jump with her. You quickly tell ANYONE who gets to close, that she is "my sis!" just incase they were going to take her or something. Your favorite movie is Cars, you can name all of the important characters and love to curl up on the couch to watch it. You have started telling me when you need to go "potty" but will only do it when YOU want to. You are learning new words everyday. Sometimes I can't figure out what you are saying and you get so frustrated with me. You use lots of hand gestures and facial expressions which many times make us laugh. You are very independent and want to do everything yourself. Recently this means things like climbing in the car and buckling the top part of your carseat, turning on the lights, drinking from an adult cup, pushing the botton to close the garage, and putting your and our shoes on. You are very much still my snuggle bug, you come into our bed on a nightly basis which is a habit we have been trying to break and in the evenings when we say it is bedtime you use all possible tactics to try and get out of it. My favorite is when you get a blanket and say you want to sit with mommy on the couch. I have to admit sometimes it works. You also love your Daddy and are always helping him. At night before bed we read Curious George or Bernstain Bears books followed by a bible story, then we pray and sing a song. You have started singing along with us and sometimes your Daddy is smiling so big he has a hard time singing. Your favorite food is rice and black beans. You love any sport that involves a ball. You love to play guitar and drums on Rockband, you also enjoy singing and dancing. You play with your matchbox cars everyday and one of your favorite things to do is crash them. You cannot pass up the opportunity to throw a rock or splash in a puddle. I think I could go on and on. You bring joy to soul and laughter to my heart. I LOVE YOU!

Weight: 31 1/2 pounds (75th percentile)
Height: 37 3/4 (over the 100th percentile, the doctor thought you would be around 6'3" when you are done growing)
